Description
The mamalila babywearing rain jacket "Shelter" is a waterproof babywearing jacket designed for pregnancy, babywearing and solo wear. With a zip-in insert, the mamalila rain jacket can be expanded for pregnancy or used for front and back babywearing; the additional insert provides enough space for the baby being carried. Without the insert, the jacket can be worn on its own as a regular rain jacket.
With a 10,000 mm water column, sealed seams and windproof material, it reliably protects against rain and wind in spring, summer and autumn. A special highlight is the specially developed, waterproof baby rainguard, which prevents rain from entering the baby opening from above. The lightweight, soft and toxin-free babywearing jacket packs down small and is ideal for everyday wear, travel and as a layering piece with warmer babywearing jackets on colder days.

Care Instructions
The mamalila Shelter is easy to care for if you follow these instructions:
- Machine wash at 30°C / gentle cycle
- no fabric softener (damages the membrane)
- After washing, iron on the lowest setting (reactivates the water-repellent finish)
After around four to five washes, re-proofing may be advisable. Please use PFC-free products such as Nikwax. Suitable products can be found under care products.

Choose mama-size only, children (up to 1,5-2 years) and pregnant bellies will fit in our babywearing and maternity inserts! Happy to advise when unsure by size selection!
