The beeswax cloth makes cling film or plastic lunch bags superfluous! With 30 x 30 cm you have a generous cloth to wrap snacks, sandwiches or fresh food and keep it fresh. The beeswax cloth is made of (organic) cotton, which is treated with beeswax and jojoba oil. This makes the cloth antibacterial, mold-free and reusable as often as you like. The fabric also protects against UV radiation. This also allows you to store vegetables that need to be stored in the dark. Ban plastic from your kitchen: The beeswax cloth replaces cling film 1:1!
Since we at mamalila have long been concerned with the issue of sustainable packaging (and we deliver without plastic bags as well as reuse our boxes as often as possible), we also wanted to set an example here, and have made a beeswax cloth with our design.
How to care for your beeswax cloth:
- If dirty, wash with lukewarm water and vinegar or mild detergent.
- Bbe careful with heat, don't put it in the sun or use too hot water, otherwise the wax will dissolve!
- If the wax becomes crumbly or many wrinkles form: simply put the cloth for a few minutes in the not too hot oven, so it gets a rejuvenating treatment
