Dangerous crossings (accident black spots) and fast tempo sports such as biking or skiing are taboo while babywearing. Suitable activities include hiking, Nordic walking or snowshoeing. When hiking it is advisable to carry children older than eight months on the back. Not only is this more comfortable for the parent but it also increases their mobility, and for the child the improved view is a bonus..
